Precision Ground Gears

These precision ground gears are the most accurate components in any drive system. They directly influence noise, lifespan, and load capacity. Yancheng Botu Transmission Machinery manufactures these gears from forged 20CrMnTi or 42CrMo steel blanks. We carburize and quench them, then finish them on CNC gear grinding machines. The tooth shape reaches DIN 6 grade accuracy, making them ideal for high-speed and high-torque applications. A set ofprecision ground gears ensures top-level performance for your machine.

Gear grinding removes distortions caused by heat treatment, ensuring smooth engagement and low noise. The carburized layer is 0.8–1.5 mm deep, and tooth roots are rounded to reduce stress concentration. This increases fatigue strength by 30% or more. The tooth surface finish is Ra ≤0.8 μm, much smoother than standard gears, extending gear life by 30–50%. Theseprecision ground gears are engineered for demanding, long-term applications.

We use full CNC gear grinding equipment, capable of modules from 2 to 8, and materials of 20CrMnTi or 42CrMo. Orders start at 50 pieces. OEM and custom work is supported: send a CAD drawing or a sample for us to replicate. Custom samples typically take about 60 days. Allprecision ground gears come with a 1-year warranty. Any quality issues during this period will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
