Inside a planetary drive, each planet gear rotates around its own axis while moving within the planetary gear arrangement. Our Planetary Shaft supports the planet gear and provides the contact surface around which the gear rotates. Its fit and roundness are therefore important to the interface between the shaft and gear bore.

This shaft is manufactured from 20CrMnTi steel with carburizing and quenching. The specified surface hardness is HRC58–62, and the roundness requirement is ≤0.005 mm. These values establish the design requirements for the treated surface and specified shaft geometry.

OEM/ODM Customization

We accept drawings and physical samples. Shaft diameter, length, end geometry, mating dimensions, and heat-treatment requirements can be specified according to the planet gear and carrier design.

Quality Control

Sampled parts receive dimensional inspection during production. Full inspection can be arranged for selected products, and third-party inspection is accepted. Roundness and gear-bore fit requirements should be identified in the drawing.
