This transmission intermediate shaft acts as a power bridge in your shuttle shift transmission, connecting the main drive shaft to the driven shaft. It enables smooth switching between forward and reverse gears. At Yancheng Botu Transmission Machinery, we manufacture this shaft from high-strength 42CrMo steel. It undergoes quenching and tempering, and the journal is high-frequency hardened. The spline is precision-machined, ensuring smooth and reliable power transfer. High Strength for Tough Shifting Shocks

 

The combination of 42CrMo steel and our tempering process provides a tensile strength of 950 MPa or higher, strong enough to withstand torque shocks during shifting. The spline teeth are high-frequency hardened to HRC 50–55, providing excellent wear resistance even after repeated shifts. Center holes on both ends are machined with precision to maintain coaxiality within 0.02 mm. This ensures your transmission intermediate shaft remains true and durable over time.
